How It Works
How can you rehearse with confidence, even if you make mistakes?
The online format makes it possible to completely separate each individual part so that you can use the mute and backing track features to make all the mistakes you need to without affecting the group progress. Muting and backing tracks are normal rehearsal tools that everyone will use in rehearsal games and exercises.
Before each rehearsal, the band leader will send a simple pre-rehearsal form to band members to check whether or not you would like to use backing tracks and which songs and at what level. The bandleader with then be able to create a mix for rehearsal that meets everyone’s needs without everyone needing to know about it.
How can 4 levels of difficulties work together?
Our music is designed in layers, so everyone can play together right away. Each level builds on the one before it—Level 2 adds to Level 1, Level 3 adds a little more, and so on. That means beginners and more experienced players are all playing the same song, just at a level that feels right for them.
Level 1 is the foundation. Basic rhythm, repetitive.
Level 2 adds one eighth note.
Level 3 adds eighth notes, sustained half notes and syncopation.
Level 4 adds four more eighth notes.
